The Bosdet Foundation, which runs Les Ormes, has seen its profits from self-catering accommodation at the holiday resort decimated due to the pandemic and is therefore unable to provide some of the funding to community projects and charities it had been due to support in 2020. So instead the foundation – which normally gives away tens of thousands of pounds every year to local good causes that predominantly support children and families – is using its facilities at the Les Ormes site in St Brelade to deliver a summer activity camp to primary school children who have been recommended by various organisations and services in the Island.
