Centre Point is one of the largest childcare providers in the Island, boasting two nurseries and a play care centre, and is the only registered complex needs centre and home care agency for children in Jersey.
In 2020, Centrepoint was fortunate to secure a contract with the Government to provide seven weeks’ holiday care for children with complex or additional needs each year. Sadly, this only covers half of the 14-week school holidays, and there is literally nowhere else for these children to go for the remaining seven weeks.
The Bosdet Foundation, along with several other organisations, provides crucial financial support to enable Centrepoint to open for these other weeks. Without this invaluable support, Centrepoint could not offer this vital service, and parents would struggle to find the appropriate care for their children.
