FAMILY NURSING & HOME CARE
Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) is committed to providing high quality, integrated nursing and home care in the community from birth to end of life. Bosdet funded the salary for three years for a peripatetic keyworker for children with life-limiting illness.
JERSEY SPORT
Jersey Sport enables participation in sport for everyone. Generation Cycle is a Jersey Sport start-up programme aimed at developing cycling skills in primary school children in the west of the Island. Bosdet funded coaching sessions to help get young riders mobile.
JERSEY EMPLOYMENT TRUST
JET supports people with disabilities and long-term health conditions secure and sustain employment. As part of the Transition Scheme from school to work, Bosdet has helped provide materials to support a group of young people with additional needs.
JERSEY YOUTH SERVICE
The Jersey Youth Service supports young people with mental health issues. Over the three years of the Bosdet funding period, YES delivered counselling sessions to 3500 young people and carried out 4676 interventions.
YOUTH PROJECTS
St Lawrence Youth Project: Bosdet funded a part-time youth worker to deliver a youth programme to Years 5, 6 & 7 students at Bel Royal School over three years.
La Pouquelaye Youth Project: In 2019 Bosdet funded a summer project that enabled a youth worker to provide a group of young people with opportunities they would not usually have.
MUSIC IN ACTION - JERSEY SINGS
Jersey Sings is an annual concert organised by Music in Action which involves disadvantaged primary school children. In 2019 Bosdet funded the cost for 60 parents to attend the concert to see their children perform and helped provide t-shirts and other merchandise.
